PELATIHAN PEMBUATAN PUPUK ORGANIK CAIR (POC) DARI LIMBAH RUMAH TANGGA BAGI IBU-IBU MAJLIS TAKLIM AN-NISA

Abstract

Organic waste mostly comes from household waste, which if left unattended will cause unpleasant odors and trigger the emergence of disease-causing microorganisms. A simple technology that can be applied to handle organic waste is to turn it into Liquid Organic Fertilizer (LOF). The purpose of this activity is to provide partners with the skills to make LOF from household waste. Partners in this service are housewives who are members of Majlis Taklim Annisa bandar Lampung. The results of initial observations showed that 27% of partners did not know about LOF and 18% of partners did not know the content of household waste that could be used as LOF, and 90% of partners had not used household waste as fertilizer. Implementation of activities using demonstration methods and lectures / information provision. The outcome of the activity is that partners can make LOF from household waste and use it as a plant fertilizer.
