SOCIALIZATION OF IMPROVEMENTS TO KNOW PRODUCTION PROCESSES IN CANDIRETNO VILLAGE, PAGELARAN DISTRICT, PRINGSEWU DISTRICT

Abstract
Household scale tofu entrepreneurs in Candiretno Village, Pagelaran District, Pringsewu Regency produce white tofu, yellow tofu and fried tofu. Community service aims to: (1) Increase the knowledge of tofu entrepreneurs regarding various alternatives for preserving tofu; (2) Increase the knowledge of tofu entrepreneurs regarding the selection and use of safe dyes in the tofu making process; and (3) Increase the knowledge of tofu entrepreneurs regarding the selection and safety of cooking oil in the tofu making process. The methods used are lectures, discussions and demonstrations. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' knowledge from an average value of 35,3% before training (initial evaluation) to 99% after training (final evaluation), so that the increase in participants' knowledge after training was 63,7% (classified in the medium category). The benefits and training objectives to be achieved in this service activity can be stated to have been successful and as expected.
