Enhancing Digital Literacy and Cybersecurity for MSME Entrepreneurs in Bandar Lampung through Information Technology-Based Training

Abstract
The rapid development of digital technology requires Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to possess adequate digital literacy and cybersecurity awareness. In Bandar Lampung City, most MSME actors still face challenges in utilizing information technology safely and productively. This community service activity aims to enhance digital literacy and understanding of cybersecurity through interactive and practical information technology-based training. The partners in this activity are MSME groups in Sukarame District, Bandar Lampung. The training was conducted through workshops, mentoring sessions, and hands-on simulations using participants’ digital devices. The results show a significant improvement in participants’ ability to understand digital security concepts, manage data, and practice safe online transactions. Furthermore, participants were able to optimize the use of digital media for effective and secure product promotion. This activity is concluded to have successfully increased MSME actors’ awareness and digital skills as an important step toward sustainable digital transformation in the digital economy era.
