SOSIALISASI PENTINGNYA HIDUP SEHAT DAN PEMBAGIAN HAND SANITIZER

Abstract

Hand sanitizer is an antiseptic material in the form of a gel that people use for practical hand washing. Using hand sanitizer is more effective and efficient compared to using soap and water, so many people are interested in using it. After the Covid-19 period has passed, hand sanitizer is still used to clean hands. Even though hand sanitizers have many uses and advantages, there is still a need for activities that can educate people about the importance of maintaining healthy lifestyle habits. The aim of carrying out this community service activity is to educate the public about the importance of clean and healthy living in order to avoid the spread of disease, one of which is by educating them about the use of hand sanitizer. This community service activity was carried out in Sukadanaham Village, Rancasari District, Bandar Lampung City by lecturers from the University of Lampung. The method of this activity is carried out in several stages. The first stage is promoting healthy living and the second stage is distributing and placing hand sanitizers among residents. Hand sanitizer is placed at points frequently passed by residents or where residents gather so that residents can take it easily but in a controlled manner. These points include the Sukadana Ham Subdistrict Office, the Ar-Raudhoh Mosque, and the Posyandu Mawar Sukadana Ham. This activity has been carried out well and the public has been educated about the importance of living clean and healthy to avoid the spread of disease from an early age.
